  • LOOK AT THE LEADERSHIP IN THE COMPANY. IS THE
    LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVE AND SETS A ROLE MODEL, OR IS
    IT JUST THE OPPOSITE. THE LEADERSHIP DICTATES
    EMPLOYEE BEHAVIOR. IS THE LEADERSHIP VISIONARY
    AND ADAPTIVE?

    THE MISSION STATEMENT? DO THEY KNOW WHERE THEY

    PRODUCE A LONG-RANGE PLAN, AND STICK TO IT?
  • IS THE COMPANY FOLLOWING IT'S MISSION STATEMENT
    (DOES IT HAVE ONE?). A WELL-WRITTEN MISSION
    STATEMENT WILL HELP THE COMPANY (AND THEREFORE
    THE EMPLOYEES) STAY FOCUSED. A FOCUSED COMPANY
    WILL MOST LIKELY GROW. A COMPANY THAT DOESN'T
    FOLLOW IT'S MISSION STATEMENT (OR DOESN'T HAVE
    ONE) WILL MOST LIKELY FAIL EVENTUALLY OR MAY HAVE
    THE TENDENCY TO STAY IN THE STATUS QUO MODE.
