The plot of the program

• Ugly betty is about a girl named Betty Suarez,
  whose dream is to become a writer at Mode
  Magazine, a fashion place of Meade publications.
  When she was waiting for her interview, the man
  who was going to interview her said that all the
  job offerings had been filled, but really it was
  how she looked - poor Betty!!!!!!!

But one night, Betty got a phone call from Meade
publications, saying that there was a job
offering to be assistant to the editor- in- chief
of mode magazine, she accepted the offer, and
started working there.

Betty is the assistant to the Editor- in- chief
at mode magazine, his name is Daniel Meade, who
was replaced by the most loved and most hated
woman, Fey Sommers, who died in a terrible car
crash . Daniel is a guy who enjoys drinking,
partying, and sleeping with women to avoid his
problems with his family when his older brother,
Alex Meade died in a skiing accident 2 years ago,
but that was not true. When it was fashion week
at mode, it was found out that Alex was alive
after all, but as a she, his name was now Alexis
Meade.

Amanda Sommers, the receptionist at Mode, she
enjoys to tease Betty when bored.
Christina McKinney, Betty's best friend, works in
the closet
Marc st James, (whos gay) assistant to the
creative director of mode( Wilhelmina Slater) who
likes to make fun of Betty as well as Amanda.
Wilhelmina Slater, the creative Director of Mode
who wants to take over Daniels job
