Spring

• Occurs between Winter and Summer
• Officially begins around March 20 (called the
  spring equinox) and ends around June 21
• Days are starting to get longer and nights
  shorter
• Warm days and cool nights
• Often rainy, sometimes with thunderstorms
• Trees grow new leaves
• New plants grow and flowers begin to bloom

Summer

• Occurs after Spring and before Autumn
• Officially begins around June 21 (called the
  summer solstice) and ends are September 21
• Hot days and warm nights
• Daylight lasting late into the evening
• Most schools get time off during the summer!

Autumn

• Occurs between Summer and Winter
• Officially begins around September 21 (called the
  autumnal equinox) and ends around December 21
• Warm days and cool nights
• Days start getting shorter and nights longer
• Leaves on trees turn colors and fall off

• Farmers crops get harvested
• Birds begin to fly south for the winter

• I am a 21 year old junior at Western Michigan
