Best Wishes from Jianwei
Dearest TECC friends, My name is Jianwei Low, a
senior at Stanford majoring in Electrical
Engineering from Malaysia. The experience that I
have gained from my 4 years in TECC has been one
hell of a great time. From seeing people fleeing
at the first indication of me seeking fundraising
to toiling in the night with my colleagues here
in running TECC. Not to mention the great joy of
working with you folks in China and Hong Kong,
especially our endless Skype meetings and
partying during TECC summit. As you can see,
being in a meaningful organization has not always
been a smooth ride. There are frustrating
moments and challenging issues to tackle. But
these are exactly the excitement that drove me to
be continuously involved in TECC, and finally to
enjoy the fruits of our work. I love this
network of people, and I wish the best to the
future generations of TECC. I am very proud to
be celebrating our 5 year anniversary!

TECC for me has been a place of meaningful work,
to gain crucial skills, and for making lifelong
friends. It is my joy to know I have relayed the
torch of hope and camaraderie to a new generation
of TECCers. You are the future. Believe in what
you do, enjoy doing it with others, and continue
the culture of innovation and openness that will
nourish TECC and yourselves. Happy 5th

TECC is an amazing organization with an
incredible journey. Indeed we have faced
numerous challenges. But with hard work and
support from each other, we have stayed strong
and pulled through each time. At the end of the
day, what keeps me motivated is the passion and
energy of the fellow students that I have the
pleasure to work with. TECC holds an amazing
future ahead! We will grow! We will learn! We
will get stronger every year! Long live TECC!!!

Best Wishes from Ivan
Ivan has greatly enjoyed working with TECC for
the past three years, and has learned much in his
role as VP of Technology. He is thankful for the
opportunities provided by TECC to sharpen his
technical, entrepreneurial, and leadership
skills, for the introduction and insight into the
world of social work, for the mentorship and
support from the alumni, and most of all for the
community of downright awesome people. TECC,

Service in Asia Concert 2009
In May 2009, US TECCers volunteered at the
Service in Asia Concert where they supported the
launch of www.eastvillagers.org and networked
with other Asia-focused service groups.
