Diet

• Caribou, elk, moose
• Pups eat half digested food.

Life Span

• Ten or more years in the safety of their pack

Breeding

• Toward the end of winter Alpha male and Alpha
  female mate or come together to produce young.
• The litter is between 48 pups.

• Very keen hearing up to 6 miles (10km)
• Keen sense of smell to help sniff out their prey
• Good eyesight to sight out danger and food

• They live in forested areas then they are called

Why is it Endangered

• They are endangered because poachers kill them
  for their furs.
• Farmers kill wolves if they catch the wolf
  killing their farm animals which they only do
  when they are sick or old
