• Tropical rainforests can be found around the

• They are also found in Africa, southern Asia,

• Some animals that can be found in a tropical
  rainforest are the Bengal Tiger, Orangutan, and

The Toco Toucan

• The Toco toucan is the largest of all toucans. It
  can get 24-26 inches long. The Toucan weighs
  about 10 to 17 ounces. The Toco Toucan likes to
  live in open areas, lowland rainforests and palm
  groves of South America.

Plants

• Plants make up the under story of the Rainforest.
  The plants adapt to small amounts of sunlight.
• Some plants you can find are Bengal Bamboo,
  Curare, Coconut Tree, Jambu, Kapok Tree, and
  Strangler figs.

The Coconut Tree

• The coconut Tree Grow to be 50 to 80 feet tall.
  The smallest is called a dwarf palm. Their leaves
  are about 15 to 17 feet long. One tree can
  produce 50 coconuts. They grow in hot areas such
  as Africa and Asia.
