• Thallium was discovered by accident during an
  experiment involving tellurium and selenium.
• Thallium is a silvery-gray color.
• Thallium looks like lead in its appearance, but
  reacts with oxygen and moisture in the air.

• Because of its toxic properties it is used in
  many insecticides and rodent killers.
• It is also used to make infrared products.
• Activates light-sensitive crystals
