1 Educate UA and UAF on the mission of a
land-grant institution, particularly the role of
agriculture and forestry in energy and community
development and the role of AFES and CES
CHALLENGE 2 Expand research, education, and
outreach programs in the light of limited budgets
and inadequate space CHALLENGE 3 Increasing
