Welcome!

• You have been studying Amazing Animals over the
  past few weeks and the different characteristics
  that help classify them as amazing. You are
  about to research an animal that you believe is
  AMAZING. Using pre-selected web sites you will
  search for information about your animal. You
  will read about the animal and record facts about
  it by copying and pasting information in a
  graphic organizer. You will also use those facts
  to write a research report. The end result will
  be a PowerPoint presentation that you will
  present to your classmates. You can flip back and
  forth to each slide by clicking on the icons at
  the very bottom of each screen. Lets get
  started!

In this slide show, there is a list of many
amazing animals. With your partner, decide which
animal you both think is amazing. Then click on
the picture of the animal to start reading about
it!When you open your animal website, click on
the Fun Facts icon first. Later you can click
on the others.

After you open your animal website, return to
this slide show by clicking the Power Point icon
at the very bottom of this screen. Go to the
next page of the slide show to find out how to
get your organizer. Then start to copy and
paste!

• Click on the pencil icon below to open your
  animal organizer.
• Type the name of your animal in the oval shape.
• Then find information from your animal website to
  copy and paste in the different categories of
  your organizer.
• When youve finished, print your organizer by
  clicking on the printer icon.

• Now that you have finished researching your
  amazing animal and have created a slide show you
  are going to write about your animal. Write a
  research report using the format provided by your
  teacher. Before you begin to write think about
• The type of animal you chose
• A description of your animal (color and size)
• A description of your animals habitat (food and
  shelter)
• Interesting facts that you learned about your
  animal
• When theyre young
• Click on the link below to write your report
  about your amazing animal that you chose.
