The Navy

• Armstrong's call up from the navy was in January
  26,1949, and required him to report to Naval Air
  station Pensacola for flight training.
• This lasted about 18 months, during which time he
  qualified for carry landing aboard the USS cabot
  and USS Wright.

• Neil Armstrong walked on the moon first.
• He actually explored the moon for 2.5 hours wow!
• The next day he explored the moon for 2 hours.
• Earlier years 1966,Armstrong and David Scott was
  the first successful docking two vehicles in

  engineering at Purdue University.
• He actually holds a degree in aeronautical
  engineering from Purdue University and a master
  degree in aerospace engineering from the
