NRP Components
  • Homeland Security Operations Center (HSOC)
  • Primary national-level hub for communications and
    information pertaining to domestic incident
    management
  • Interagency Incident Management Group (IIMG)
  • Replaces the Catastrophic Disaster Response Group
    (CDRG)
  • Facilitates national-level operational
    coordination, course of action determination and
    policy recommendations
  • Principal Federal Official (PFO)
  • Represents the DHS Secretary locally in an
    overall coordination role
  • Other agency officials retain authorities, such
    as, the FCO and others
  • Joint Field Office (JFO)
  • Fully replaces the FEMA Disaster Field Office

    authority
  • When Secretary DHS is directed by the President
  • When events exceed the purview of established
    plans
  • When events involve one or more Federal D/As
