17The Power Words
The more we teach teachers, the better they will
teach students. Student achievement was improved
because teacher learning was heightened by
Project PaWs design. We learned that leading
edge technology acted as a catalyst for improving
student learning. The idea of leading instead
of following motivated teachers to achieve new
and innovative teaching methods, add new
curriculum content and to get excited about their
jobs!
18More Power Words
Im thinking about renaming the project
T-LIFE(Teacher Learning Innovation for Future
Effectiveness)! By introducing wearable
computers into the classroom, we improve teacher
learning, that in turn improves student learning,
which in turn produces greater future
effectiveness. Therefore, if we want to improve
student achievement, we need to cultivate
teaching learning. This study proved over its
three-year existence that teacher learning is
directly related to student achievement. Project
PaW is a teacher learning innovation. Expect
them to lead and they will lead. Computer is the
Name, but people are the Game!
