Activities to address risks

• NNI interagency group (NEHI WG) is preparing a
  document outlining research needs to support risk
  assessment management of nanomaterials
• OECD is considering proposal for a new group on
  safety of manufactured nanomaterials
• U.S. leading ISO Nanotech Stds group on HES
• EPA, FDA, and NIOSH each have established
  cross-agency activities

  Committee hearing Feb. 15 on Developments in
  Nanotechnology (Govt witnesses NNCO, NSF, NIH)
• National Academies report expected in May
• Public Participation Workshop (May 30-31,
