Project Summary
  • Knight Challenge is a remediation/ enrichment

or remediation groups based on criterion
    reference test scores and teacher
    recommendations.Every student spends 30 minutes
per day in the program. Enrichment students
rotate to a new class every 4 ½ weeks.
Remediation students rotate at the semester.

Rationale
  • The state board of Georgia has mandated that
each school provide a remediation program for
their students.Evans Middle decided to provide
all students with an opportunity for either
remediation or enrichment depending on their
    individual needs.Through Knight Challenge
    remediation students receive concentrated
instruction in math and/or reading skills.
    Enrichment students receive concentrated
instruction on varied topics. All courses cover
material which expand on the required QCCs for
    Middle Grades.
