- March 2007 Superintendent appoints committee to
recommend new boundaries - 16 members
- 2 parents from each elementary and middle school,
plus 2 alternates - Superintendent sets criteria for committee
- to consider

- The new boundary
- Can be sustained for at least five years given
projected growth, attendance patterns and school
capacity. - Supports existing neighborhood boundaries.
- Supports socioeconomic balance of district
- as a whole.
- Supports needs of district as a whole.

term, not long-term - Neighborhoods Uses existing boundaries,
including streets and distinct neighborhoods or

assumed to adjust over time - District-wide needs 3 larger and 3 smaller
schools in short term, limited shifting to Wascher
