Mission Statement (draft)

• AACNL is the national organization that can
  advance the Clinical Nurse Leader role, to share
  ideas and issues among members, and to promote
  the development of individual CNLs and their
  representative organizations.

Vision Statement (draft)

• We will be an independent and self-sustaining
  organization with human and material resources to
  effectively leverage the CNL role locally,
  regionally, and nationally to further advance the
  profession of nursing and patient care in a
  variety of settings.

Steering Committee

• Discuss proposal for regional committees and an
  interim national steering committee
• Draft proposal for AACN support by March, 2008
  for AACN Board of Directors
• Draft by-laws for presentation to National CNL
  organization
