• Several invited presentation on the OAIS
  Reference Model were given as previously reported
• A paper on the EAST Data Description Language was
  presented at the Science Data Processing workshop
  held in College Park, February 2002. An NSSDC
  Newsletter article on EAST was also written.
• The NSSDC continues its development of a
  multi-file AIU for internal storage. It is also
  moving to transfer 9-track tape images
  (multi-file) to AIUs. It is also investigating
  the application of the AIU to role and cut film
  data. The Planetary Data System may use NSSDC
  supplied software to send multi-file AIUs to
  NSSDC later this summer.
