    social cultural and social differences with
    important local necessities.

BUT, WE HAVE DIFFERENT PUBLIC POLICIES LOOKING
FOR SOLUTIONS

DIVERSITIES
  • In a place, a state, a country with so many
    diversities, we cannot work with
    compartimentalised solutions or with isolated
    policies. Currently we must search the
    integration and interaction of them through
    processes similar to a network, that has
    movements in common directions where we have work
    guidelines, where the individual and collective
    life is the object of the work. (Hancock T, 2007)

POTENTIALLY HEALTHY MUNICIPALITIES NETWORK
  • It is a research project developed by the
    Department of Preventive and Social Medicine of
    the Medical Sciences Faculty of Campinas State
    University in São Paulo -Brazil. It counts on the
    technical support of the PAHO/WHO, Basin
    Committee of the Regional Rivers and 56 members
    Municipalities. In 2009, within 5 States (São
    Paulo, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and
    Amazonas).

  • support the municipal administrations so that
    they can develop an integrated government
    project
  • subsidize managers, technicians, scholars
    (university), organizations and society for the
    construction of public policies that consider
    health promotion and the improvement of life
    quality in their projects.

    social actors' values and wishes concerning their
    territory mapping individual and colective
    wishes aiming at building a commom agenda of work

project AIPS one of the most successful
experiences.
