5BUT, WE HAVE DIFFERENT PUBLIC POLICIES LOOKING
FOR SOLUTIONS
6DIVERSITIES
- In a place, a state, a country with so many
diversities, we cannot work with
compartimentalised solutions or with isolated
policies. Currently we must search the
integration and interaction of them through
processes similar to a network, that has
movements in common directions where we have work
guidelines, where the individual and collective
life is the object of the work. (Hancock T, 2007)
7POTENTIALLY HEALTHY MUNICIPALITIES NETWORK
- It is a research project developed by the
Department of Preventive and Social Medicine of
the Medical Sciences Faculty of Campinas State
University in São Paulo -Brazil. It counts on the
technical support of the PAHO/WHO, Basin
Committee of the Regional Rivers and 56 members
Municipalities. In 2009, within 5 States (São
Paulo, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and
Amazonas).

- support the municipal administrations so that
they can develop an integrated government
project -
- subsidize managers, technicians, scholars
(university), organizations and society for the
construction of public policies that consider
health promotion and the improvement of life
quality in their projects.

- intersectorial and transectorial actions
- 2) strengthening of different social actors
- 3) construction of practices which establish
social actors' values and wishes concerning their
territory mapping individual and colective
wishes aiming at building a commom agenda of work
to bring the convergence in terms of solutions
