Description of Mikolów

• Mikolów with its medieval origins belongs to the
  oldest towns in the region of Górny Slask. It has
  retained the old town olan with a beautifull,
  rectangular and well preserved main square. The
  monumental tenement houses, dated mainly from the
  18th and 19th Century flank the main square. In
  the foreground the town hall (1870) the old
  chemists (1802) and an 18th century inn. The
  oldest existing monument is St. Mary of snow
  church together with the cementery (former St
  adalberts church) from 1287, recostructed
  between 1580 and 1628.
