3Required by all students in the LCSD
4PMRN Sign In
- Website is located at https//pmrn.fcrr.org
- The s after http indicates that the site is
secure for the transmission of sensitive data.
- A PMRN User Name and Password will allow the
User to access the PMRN and enter scores for his
or her students.
5- After reading the Family Education Rights and
Privacy Act (FERPA) page, you must click I Agree
to continue to the next page.
- The PMRN contains official student records. The
provisions of FERPA and Florida laws cover access
to and disclosure of these records.
6- For security reasons, you must reset your
Password upon Signing In for the first time.
- Enter your Identifier and a new Password that
youve selected. Re-enter your new Password and
click Submit.
7- If you forget your Password in the future
- Click Forgot Your Password? on the Sign In page.
- Enter your E-mail address.
- Click Submit.
- The Password will be sent to the E-mail address
entered if it is matched to a User in the PMRN
database. - After using the Forgot Your Password? function,
you will need to reset your Password the next
time you Sign In.
8Data Entry Summary Page home page
- This picture is the default view.
- This tab shows the tasks that each student has
completed, each task available to the student,
and which tasks are not available for each
student based on the students performance.
9Data Entry Summary Page Circles
- This tab shows the tasks that each student has
completed, each task available to the student,
and which tasks are not available for each
student based on the students performance. - There are four statuses that each student can
have for a type of task - No circle This task type is not required to be
completed. - Empty white circle This task type is required to
be completed but has not yet been started. - Half circle This task type is required, has been
started, and is in progress. - Filled in, black circle This task type has been
completed.
10Tabs Drop Down Menus
- TABS Each tab will show the applicable tasks for
the type of tasks selected - BS/PMT, BDI, or TDI.
- DROP-DOWN Use the drop-down menu circled below
to navigate between the different tasks under
each task type.
11Notes on Student Rostering
- Students are rostered into PMRN based on the
schools enrollment data provided to PMRN by the
district. This happens three times a year. - If you get a NEW student you will be able to ADD
these new students so they appear on your Data
Entry Summary Page. - If a student is appearing in the wrong class,
make the changes by Signing In the PMRN and
accessing the Classes/Periods tab.
12Adding Students
- Classroom teachers have the ability to ADD
students to classes. - To ADD a student, click on the Summary tab under
Scheduled Tasks. - Click the Add Student link.
13Adding Students continued
- To locate a student in the PMRN database you
should use the students First Name, Last Name,
and Birth Date. Once you have entered this
information, click the Search button. If the
student is found by the search, select the
student and then click NEXT. This student is
then added to your class!
14Enrolling Students
- Fill in the required information on the screen.
- The identifier is the number 36 followed by the
student ID. (no spaces) - Select the appropriate gender from the drop-down
menus. - Click Add. The student will then be added to your
class.
15Assessment Calendar
- Classroom Teachers will have access to the
Assessment Calendar via a button on the Scheduled
Tasks tab - The Assessment Calendar shows key dates in the
PMRN, including lockdown dates and dates of the
Assessment Periods.
16Ongoing Progress Monitoring (OPM)
- Next to the Scheduled Tasks tab you will also
have an Ongoing Progress Monitoring tab. - Even when using the Web-Based Assessment Module
(WAM) for the other tasks you must enter Oral
Reading Fluency (ORF) though the Data Entry Page,
as it is not available on the WAM. - For Oral Reading Fluency (ORF), the number
correct, number of errors, passage number, and
the time it took the student to read the passage
must all be entered before a score will be
accepted.
17Save and Submit Buttons
- There are two options for keeping scores in the
PMRN - Saving via the Save button temporarily saves the
scores and allows editing. - Submitting via the Submit button permanently
records the scores and sends them to the PMRN.
Use this option when you have proofed and
corrected the scores and have no more
corrections.
