ENO GLOBAL School for ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS.
We got introduced to this way back in 2003. We
got to understand that we could study
environmental issues in a global school, together
with 150 schools from over 50 Countries
throughout the school year. Through this
initiative, teachers can improve their teaching
by getting it from all over the world. At the
same time, students can benefit through improved
teaching ability by their teachers. After
enrolling in this program, there came the TWINING
of schools. We got twinned to Eno Senior High
School of Finland. We have also made an effort to
improve our schools environment. We are proud
to be a part of this program.

3 Our school is a Marist School. A Marist school
is a Catholic Institution offered by the Catholic
Church to society in order to promote the
integral education of the pupils according to the
educational style of St Marceline Champagnat, the
founder of Marist Brothers. We are 30 km from the
town called KABWE which is the 5th largest town
of the country ZAMBIA. Our school is surrounded
by trees and villages. The main linking road is
gravel and gives us trouble during the rainy
season. Our school has a population of 497
pupils. 204 are day pupils who come from the
nearby villages. 88 of these day pupils are
girls. We have 293 boarders. There are 29
teaching staff. 6 of these are female, and 23 are
male. The number of male teachers includes 5
Marist Brothers who are actively involved in the
teaching. At St Pauls High School, Marist
Brothers and Lay Teachers (being witnesses of
Gospel values) live in communion with young
people. The educational work of a Marist School
shows the characteristic features of Marist
