• Remains neutral
• Keeps group on task
• Directs the process
• Reminds the group where they are in the 3-phase
  process
• Encourages everyone to participate
• Protects participants from attack
• Negotiates roles with the group

Timekeeper

• Monitors time for each phase of protocol
• Gives one-minute warnings

Recorder

• Remains neutral
• Supports facilitator
• Records basic ideas
• Uses participants language
• Asks group for corrections
• Writes legibly and large
• Makes sure teams feedback sheet is turned in to
  leadership
