Security
Doc uses username/ password authentication,
and/or a biometric finger print device depending
on your clinics security preference. Doc
includes various levels of security and
permissions to accommodate individual security
protocols.
After login, there are three built-in security
features on the console that allow convenient
travel between workstations.
3
Security
When this feature is selected by a user, Doc will
be completely closed, but when opened under that
username at another terminal, Doc will pick up at
the same place the user was last.
The leave feature will simply lock the current
terminal and will require the last users
username and password to re-open Doc at the last
active screen.
The Doc console allows users to lock or move to
another terminal in addition to a standard logoff
feature. These unique features allow for users
to adhere to privacy and security regulations,
without losing their current session.
4
Login
If using a biometric device, the users actual
fingerprint will appear in the box. Once the
authentication of either login method is
complete, Doc will display a green fingerprint
and open up the user interface.
