Helping with Homework/Como Ayudar a Su Hijo En La
Tarea

• Homework is a critical long-term- role in the
  development of childrens achievement and
  motivation

• La tarea es una parte critica de largo plazo en

Have a regular place for homework/ Tenga un lugar
regular donde su hijo/a pueda hacer su tarea

• Use a desk or table
• Have a quiet room
• Be sure there is plenty of light

• Choose a time that works best for you (the adult)

• Be sure it is not too late

• Talk about what they have accomplished when they
  are finished

• If you feel like your child does not understand
  the assignments or cannot do the homework, be
  sure to let the teacher know

• Each night instead of just the night before the
  test
• With a sibling, or you can call out items for a
  test
