Decisions / Considerations

• Audacity can be used to edit your track
• Possible File Formats
• WAV, MP3, m4a, m4b
• WAV files dont allow for authoring titles,
  creator, date, etc.
• MP3 will require additional LameLib download
  however, it will result in the smallest file size
• MP3 allows for editable file information
• MP3 will be playable by most student audio devices

Capturing Audio

• Start Application (Audacity)
• Click Start
• Click Stop
• Edit - Optional
• Export

• Edit out anything not needed
• Look for long spans of low amplitude in audio
  waveform
• Add Intro / Music
• Export as MP3 (LameLib download)

• Download and Place in Audacity Folder
