  • A Note from the Principal
  • The GO Center has been a wonderful addition for
Carter. We have worked hand in hand to provide
Carter students and their families with the
assistance needed to ensure that we have a smooth
transition from high school to college. Most of
our students and their parents do not have the
    knowledge and skills needed.
  • Without the assistance of TWU, our counselors
are overwhelmed because of the number of students
and families requesting help. But, most
importantly, the TWU students offer our students
"hope" by serving as role models, sharing their
struggles, lessons learned, and planning out
    their futures. Their determination, positive
attitudes, and work ethics are traits we wish to
impart to our students. The TWU students model
that for our students each time they join us.
  • I look forward to many more years of this
collaboration. Hats off to you and all of the
adults that continue to work each day with our
    young people. God bless you!
  • Sincerely,
  • Maria E. Sanchez
  • Principal-Carter-Riverside High School
