  saved exceeded the expected number of people that
  should have been saved in those two classes had
  the proper procedure been followed.
• The number of third class passengers saved was
  much less than the expected percent that should
  have been saved had the proper procedure been
  followed.

Conclusion

• 98.6 of first class women and children were
  saved.
• 93 of second class women and children were
  saved.
• Only a collective of 28.6 of third class women
  and children were rescued.
• This class bias was also seen in the number
  of men saved. However, only an average of 9.2 of
  men survived the sinking.
• Proportionately, more women and children were
  survivors
