Mymaps Demo

• Building a map of SJSU from my perspective
• Go to maps.google.com
• Search for San Jose State University
• Click on the MyMaps tab then click on the Create
  New Map button
• Edit the Maps title, make sure the public
  checkbox is selected then click Save
• Use the shape tool to select the entire area of
  SJSU
• Add placemarkers for locations of interest to you
• Click on the Rich Text link to access formatting
  buttons and the insert picture button
• Click on the Edit html link to embed a video
• Click on the marker image in the associated
  bubble to change the marker style

• Make your map a public map so that we can see how
  all our maps overlap once we are all finished
• Each team should have a check-in session with me
  to assess progress with project, team dynamics,
