• A tense is a verb that shows the time of an
  action or condition.

THERE ARE TWO??

• There are two types of tenses-simple and perfect
  tenses
• Each tense has an example of past, present, and
  future

• PRESENT TENSES-shows that an action or condition
  occurs now
• PAST TENSES-shows that an action or condition
  occurred in the past
• FUTURE TENSES-shows that an action or condition
  will happen

• PAST PERFECT-places a past action or condition
  before another further action or condition
• PRESENT PERFECT-places an action or condition in
  a stretch of time leading to the present
• FUTURE PERFECT-places a further action or
  condition before another further action or
