Complex Sentence

• A complex sentence contains two or more clauses
  one of which is a dependent clause it has a verb
  and a subject, but the clause does not stand
  alone and make sense.

• It needs the assistance of an independent clause
  to complete its meaning. The dependent clause in
  turn gives clarification and extra information
  about the dependent clause it modifies it.
