- Identified positions to be considered
- Identified current beginning, average, and
maximum salaries for each position in Melissa
ISD. - Identified the current mean of beginning,
average, and maximum salaries for districts
across the state w/enrollment of 1,000 1,599 as
reported by the Texas Association of School
Boards. - Site-based committee met, identified salary
disparities within MISD and compared MISD
salaries with the TASB identified districts. - The committee elected to broaden the comparison
group to include Anna, Allen, Frisco, and
McKinney ISDs. - Human Resources calculated suggested beginning
hourly rates based upon comparison data from the
comparison group. - Site-based committee met and refined the
suggested beginning hourly rate for all positions.

1,150 students - We have broken ground on Harry McKillop
Elementary - When secondary enrollment reaches 550 students,
we need to begin expansion or first phase of new
high school
