Design- AC power configuration Covered Work

• Davis-Bacon Recommendation-
• Conduit routing
• The mounting of conduit from existing electrical
  AC power outlets to electronic racks and outlets
• Power cable installation
• The installation of cabling to deliver the
  electrical AC power to electronic racks and
  outlets.

• Internal rack wiring
• Cable Group installed by means of Job Order.
• Sub-system Eng./Tech. Installed.
• Wiring inside experimental equipment and racks.
• Standard Practice-
• Assemble racks and label
• Includes mounting of Quad and Duplex boxes
  besides plugmolds.
• Pre-install of supplied chassis prior to floor
  mount.

• AC costs immediately reduced by 11.5k
• Deleted 3ph Buss-tie assys and safety covers
  from racks.
• AC costs increased to cover Davis-Bacon edict.
• AC distribution supplied from side-mount power
  panels via conduit using THHN wire.
• Net savings of 4.3k
