  the NHS National Library for Health

• Developed by the Royal London Homoeopathic
  Hospital, the Research Council for Complementary
  Medicine (RCCM) and the School of Integrated
  Health, University of Westminster

Methods

• Defined the scope of the collection
• Developed a taxonomy for the organisation of the
  resources in the library
• Developed a content strategy specifying inclusion
  criteria, quality control and search methods
• Added content for selected CAM topics

• Topics covered at the first stage of the
  librarys development
• Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Chiropractic,
  Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Hypnosis, Massage,
  Meditation, Osteopathy, Reflexology and Yoga
• Future topics can be seen under the heading Other
  Therapies or Medical Systems
• Focus on high quality, evidence based resources
