3PregSure BVD
Killed BVD vaccine 2 ml dose Subcutaneous
injection Two shots, 3 weeks apart Single

months duration of immunity
4BVD Vaccination - Calves
- Vaccinate calves from 3 months of age
- 2 ml dose, subcutaneous
- Two shots, 3 weeks apart
- Annual booster single 2 ml shot s/c
5BVD Vaccination Breeding cattle
- Single annual booster
- Or two shots if not previously vaccinated
- Ideal timing booster 2 - 4 weeks pre-mating
- maximum immunity through critical stages of
pregnancy - With PregSure other booster timing can be used as
12 months duration of immunity
6Vaccination of Bulls
- All bulls must be BVD tested certified BVD free
- Vaccination is recommended
- Bulls that are transiently infected (TI)
- shed virus in their semen
- subfertile for several weeks
- Two shots, 3 weeks apart completed at least 2
weeks before service
