OBJECTIVES

• Build a mobile survey platform
• Launch it by sending a WAP Push message to
  participants
• Direct the participants to the site of the survey

SOLUTION

• Java application that triggers the sending of
  the WAP Push message, which is encapsulated in
  an SMS

SOLUTION

• A com port is selected and a phone number,
  URL and a message are entered in order to create
  the WAP Push message
• Java Communications API
• The message is sent through a virtual modem
  connected to the computer by a serial port using
  Bluetooth
