How it all began
  • In April 2002, public consultation at the Spa
  • Kissing Sleeping Beauty
  • Yorkshire Forward Involvement
  • Town Team Renaissance Office
  • European Regional Development Funds

  • 6,000,000 Yorkshire Forward Capital.
  • 7,000,000 E.R.D.F
  • 3,000,000 Scarborough Borough Council capital
  • 4,500,000) Partnership money from private
    developers.

Outputs
  • The projects we are developing will create
  • 234 new jobs in 2 years
  • 86 hectare of land for industrial use
  • Will indirectly accommodate 322 jobs
  • 36 new starter units for creative industries

Training Education
  • All the developments are linked to training
    opportunities
  • Links to local university and colleges.
  • The industrial park will have a dedicated
    training and education programme

  • Funding 4,800,000
  • Start on Site 26th June 2006
  • Completion January 2008
  • Second phase now funded to a total of 850,000 to
    rebuild the tower and construct 5 more business
    units

  • Provides the town with business expansion for the
    next 10 years or more.
  • The project is value is 9,600,000 with a
    4,000,000 contribution from Caddick's, 3.7m
    from ERDF and 400,000 from Plaxton Parks
    Industries Ltd

  • Marina for 70 boats in the inner harbour
  • New walkways.
  • New lighting schemes.

  • The works also include the redesigning of the
