Military veterans and their eligible spouses - To be considered a veteran by Federal
Regulations, one must have served on active duty
for more than 180 days, or have been discharged
(under other than dishonorable) or released from
active duty due to a service-connected disability

- Assist veterans with finding the appropriate
federal, state, or local entities, for the
reintegration process - Assist veterans in finding employment
- Help explain to veterans their benefits and
entitlements - Promote hiring of veterans (Job Developments)
- Educate private sector employers and governmental
agencies on the benefits of hiring veterans

Works! Service Center,
first - If it is determined that the veteran will need
more intensive job seeking
services they will be referred to the LVER/DVOW
in the service center.
