Choosing the right picture to draw
  • Your child should draw a picture that begins with
  • the letter at the top of the paper. Pumpkin
    begins with P

Formulating a sentence
  • Take the words out of the bag
  • Help your child formulate a simple sentence using
    the words from the bag. Using color words helps.
  • A new word will be added to this bag weekly.

Kid Writing
  • The child should copy the words on the line.
  • Use the pom pom as the meatball space between
    the words
  • When the sentence is complete place the period at
    the end.
  • Adult Writing the adult then writes the sentence
    correctly under the childs kid writing.
  • Help your child to sound out words that are in
    the sentence that are not in the bag and
    encourage them to write the letters that they
