About iRex Technologies

• 2001 The iRex team started playing a leading
  role in the electronic paper display industry
• 2004 As part of Philips, the iRex people
  developed the electronic paper display for the
  first commercially available e-reader, the Sony
  Librié
• 2005 iRex Technologies BV was founded as an
  independent spin-off from Royal Philips
  Electronics NV
• 2006 iRex introduced the iRex iLiad, the worlds
  first interactive e- reader that you can write on
  in combination with wireless content
  distribution via the iRex Delivery Service
• 2007 iRex and Les Echos (FR) launched the first
  newspaper commercially available on e-paper in
  the world, followed shortly by NRC Handelsblad
  (NL) early 08 and other titles
• 2008 iRex introduces the iRex Digital Reader
  series
