• White symbolizes nobleness, freedom and
  greatness
• Blue symbol of honor, and is still considered
  the color of the Mother of God, Patroness of the
  Russian ground
• Red symbolizes courage and magnanimity

• This is one of the oldest symbols of
  (1) the struggle of good against evil,
  (2) light against gloom, (3) the symbol
  of defense of fatherland.
• The eagle has a scepter and an orb.
• Above the heads of the eagle there are presented
  three historical crowns.
