Title: How to care for your brain
1How to care for your brain
- Have plenty of sleep (at least 8 hours).
- Feed your brain healthy foods.
- Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Protect your head with the correct safety gear.
2Make a model Brain
- Brain stem (the innermost part of the brain)
Make a short sausage with a small bulge in front. - Cerebellum (There are two joined together in the
brain. We will show them cut open) Make a
sphere with two thin sausages opposite each
other. - Make a worm shape then curve it around the top
part of the brain stem. - Make a rainbow shape and curve it around the top
of the hippocampus.
3- 5. Roll up a ball shape and put it inside the
hippocampus. Ensure there are no gaps left. - 6. Cerebrum This piece is difficult to make.
Roll a sausage (not too thick!) and layer it
around the outside of the corpus collosum.
Ensure that the outside shape looks right. - 7. Make an amygdala by moulding an eye shape. Put
it in front of the brain stem, below the
hippocampus.
4SIX Quick Questions

MATTER? - Write the words that go with the acronym SHAC
