MISSION STATEMENT

• The West Suffolk SOS Bus is a multi agency
  initiative primarily designed to meet the needs
  of vulnerable people out and about in West
  Suffolks nightlife

How it all began.

• 2 deaths within the town centre
• Increase in violent offences
• Perception as a no go area
• No support or advice centres

The Initial Idea????

• Interested parties met in 2006
• Met again in 2007
• Presentation by Norwich SOS Bus
• Bought a BUS !!!

• Fractured skull/bones
• Insert into airway breathing assist
• Road Traffic Accidents
• Assaults
• Attempted suicide
• Diabetes
• Peptic Ulcer
• Vomiting blood

• Main reason injury or feeling unwell
• Majority of individuals intoxicated
• 230 foil blankets been given out
