Who are we?
  • London's dedicated human trafficking team
  • Located in West London
  • Victim centred Dedicated victim team
  • Work reactively and proactively
  • Extensive partners both government and NGO
  • Operate locally nationally - internationally

SCO9 2011-12
  • 114 women encountered in brothels of which 75
    displayed indicators of being trafficking (ILO)\.
  • 62 cases referred by NGO'S
  • Others identified direct
  • Of these, the biggest groups are Romanian (28),
    Nigerian (17) and Chinese(15)
  • Since April 2010 SCO9 have made 142 arrests for
    trafficking resulting in 55 of all UK
    convictions.

My aims of today
