• 5 You welcome those who gladly do good, who
  follow godly ways. But you have been very angry
  with us, for we are not godly. We are constant
  sinners how can people like us be saved?
• 6 We are all infected and impure with sin. When
  we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing
  but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither
  and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the
  wind.
• Yet no one calls on your name or pleads with you
  for mercy. Therefore, you have turned away from

Jer 336-9

• 6 "Nevertheless, the time will come when I will
  heal Jerusalem's wounds and give it prosperity
  and true peace. 7 I will restore the fortunes of
  Judah and Israel and rebuild their towns. 8 I
  will cleanse them of their sins against me and
  forgive all their sins of rebellion. 9 Then this
  city will bring me joy, glory, and honor before
  all the nations of the earth! The people of the
  world will see all the good I do for my people,
  and they will tremble with awe at the peace and
  prosperity I provide for them.

Ezek 3721-23

• I will gather the people of Israel from among the
  nations. I will bring them home to their own land
  from the places where they have been scattered.
  22 I will unify them into one nation on the
  mountains of Israel. One king will rule them all
  no longer will they be divided into two nations
  or into two kingdoms. 23 They will never again
  pollute themselves with their idols and vile
  images and rebellion, for I will save them from
  their sinful backsliding. I will cleanse them.

  defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward
  complete holiness because we fear God.
