Early stages of pregnancy
3
  • In the first four weeks of pregnancy the baby
will develop into a nervous system (brain, spinal
cord, hair, and skin). The baby already has the
    foundation for thought, senses, feelings.

  • On week 10, the uterus has double its size. The
fingerprints are evident in skin. The fetus is
    now two inches long.
  • On week 14, fine hair has begun to grow on the
    head. Sexual differentiation has become
apparent. The umbilical cord transports 300
quarts of fluids per day and completes a trip of
    fluids every 30 seconds.

Month five

passed. The fetus is about 12 inches long. The
mother could now feel movement. By the sixth
month oil and sweat glands are functioning. The
fetus could use his senses on the seventh month.
The skin begins to thicken by the eighth month.

Toddlers
  • Children from the ages of one to three years old
can be called a toddler. The time between the
ages of two and five when they are reaching
    independence repeats itself during adolescence.
Most children are toilet trained while they are
    toddlers.

Children from 5-6
  • At five years old the kid is about to begin
school. Children at this age understands right
and wrong, fair and unfair. The child can now cut
and paste, name four to five colors, can state
his or her age, and can tell a simple story. At
six years of age can ride a bicycle, can tie
shoelaces, and knows right from left.

Children from 7-10
  • At eight years of age the kids are mostly really
active. There can probably be concerns about
reading and school performances. The kid can
read for pleasure and can take responsibility for
home chores. At ten years of age the kids can be
called pre-adolescent and kids can now be more
social and would like to belong t informal
    clubs formed by children.
