The Creed

• The was adopted in 1930
• Written by E.M. Tiffany
• Revised in 1966, 87 and 90
• Provides a constant solid foundation on which the
  principles of the organization are based.

The Emblem

• The emblem is a symbol of what the FFA
  represents.
• It contains 6 parts that have different meanings
• Covers a broad spectrum of FFA and agriculture.

• The Eagle
• Serves as a national scope of the FFA
• Cross-section of the ear of corn
• Symbol of unity (corn is grown everywhere)

• The Owl
• Symbol of knowledge and importance of it in
  agriculture
• The Rising Sun
• Symbol of progress and new opportunities

• The Plow
• Backbone of agriculture, historic foundation of
  our countrys strength
• Words Agriculture Education FFA
• Learning and leadership necessary for success.
