• Rehabiliation
• Process of getting a person back to his or her
  normal level of function following an injury or
  illness
• Modality
• A therapeutic method or agent, such as surgery,
  chemotherapy, or electrotherapy, that involves
  the physical treatment of a disorder.

• Study of the structure of the body (how the body
  is put together)
• Physiology
• Study of the function of the body (how the body
  works)
• Tendons
• Fibrous connective tissue around a joint that
  connects muscle to bone
• Ligaments
• Fibrous connective tissue that connects bone to
  bone

• Frontal/Coronal Plane
• Separates the body into front and back halves
• Sagittal Plane
• Divides the body into left and right halves
• Transverse Plane
• Divides the body into top and bottom halves

Anterior vs Posterior

• Anterior/Ventral
• Refers to the front of the body

• Toward the attachment of a limb to the trunk
• Distal
• Away from the attachment of a limb
