apprehension is to RESEARCH, PLAN and PRACTICE!!!
1. Choose a topic that interests you. 2. Know
your goal to persuade, inform, or
entertain. 3. Your topic can be summarized by a
single clear thesis statement. 4. Know your
audience.

Thesis statement what your speech is about the
main idea.
Purpose statement what you want your speech to
accomplish (what you want the audience to walk
away with from your speech
