• Very common
• Benign inversion can be congenital or develop
  slowly
• Areola remains symmetrical

• The breast is a modified sweat gland
• Nipple discharge is common
• Relevant if spontaneous, uniduct or bloodstained
• Commonly produced with compression
• Inspissated secretions in central duct are normal
