Basic Description

• Gorillas are very massive, strong, hairy
  animals. Despite their scary appearance,
  gorillas are very gentle creatures. They dont
  even eat meat! Gorillas have long, hairy arms
  with hands much like humans. Their legs are
  shorter than their arms, usually less hairy, and
  also have hand-like feet that they can use to
  walk or grab objects with. A gorillas head is
  longer than a humans. Gorillas have no tails.

  and roar to try
• to intimidate whatever is disturbing it.

• Gorillas can cry. They do not make tears,
• but they cry with sounds.

Baby Gorillas

• Gorillas as infants look a lot like human
  infants, except
• much more hair, gray skin, and different noses.
• Gorilla mothers care for their babies like
• human mothers care for theirs. The
• Gestation period is about 8 and ½
• months. It is hard to tell if a gorilla is
• pregnant because their stomach is large
• to begin with.

Habitat

• Gorillas usually live in tropical rainforests.
  They sometimes build nests, similar to a birds,
  just larger.

• KING KONG
• King Kong first came out in 1933.
• SNOWFLAKE
• Snowflake was the only white
• gorilla in the world. He died in
• 2003.
• DONKEY KONG
• Donkey Kong, the video game, came out in 1981. It
  was a huge hit.
